Town meeting to see if the Town will concur

with the Church in dismissing the Pastor from

the work of the Gospel Ministry in this place.

Then Voted to adjourn the meeting for one Week

at 3 o clock. P.M. ^___

Then the meeting which had been previously

adjournd for to this day and which was this day

still further adjournd for one hour was dissolved. ^___

Upon which the Church Voted first to dismiss

and recommend the Pastor and M^rs Robinson.

Secondly they Voted to dismiss and recomm

end them according to the usual form to any

Church to which they might or should at

any future time wish to join themselves.

The Church then proceeded to choose an Eccle

siastical Council to ratify and confirm

the dismission. ^___ In which the Pastor acq

uisced particularly and expressly upon this

condition that he and M^rs Robinson should

be regularly dismiss’d from and recommend

ed by the Church to the Church of Christ in g

eneral and also to any particular Church to

which they might or should at any future

time wish to join themselves. ^___

Then Voted to send to five Churches. ^___

Voted that the Church in Shrewsbury the Chu

rch in Northborough, the Church in Southbor

ough, the Church in Hopkinton, the Church in

Upton be the five Churches to send to. ^___

Voted that a Committee of tw three be appoin

appointed to sign the Letters missive with

the Pastor. ^___

Voted that Brother Elijah Brigham Deacon

Hawes and Deacon Chamberlain be the Comm

ittee for that purpose. ^___

Voted that the above Committee be the

Committee to lay before the Council the

transactions respecting the dismission of

the Pastor from the work of the Gospel Minis
