Oct. 6. The _^ ^{Brn of ye} Chh were desired to stay, at y^e request of

the Deacons. Deacon Bond acquaint-

ed y^e Chh that the late Deacon Simon

Tainter left a Legacy of 50£ old Ten^r

to this Chh, and the Affair having fallen

into his Hands, he had let y^e Money to

his Son, Benj. Tainter; but y^e Time was

up, and he wanted to know y^e mind

of y^e Chh relative to what he sh^d do

with it next: that he did not indeed

desire y^y sh^d vote upon it now, but that

they would take it into Considerⁿ agst

next Lecture Day.

to hear the Return of the Com^tee w^c were sent

by y^e Chh to Mrs Eunice Rice. w^c was for

Substance, that She could make no other
