Chas. Town, South Carolina 15 June 1773

    Sir

I hope this will find you safe returned to your Friends & your Health quite established after your long Journey—You have herewith inclosed a Copy of the several Letters &c., you marked off in the Committee’s Book of Correspondence with our Agent. It was sometime before I could procure a Clerk to copy them, and at last was Obliged to pay 14 Dollars to the Person employed, which I thought too much but could not otherwise have got them done in time to be sent by Mr. Lynch, the Bearer hereof, who with his family intend passing a few Months your way this Summer. He will inform you of any Matters passing in these Southern Regions much better than I can communicate them on paper. I shall be glad to be favoured with your Correspondence, whenever convenient. And am Sir

    Your very humble Servant

    Tho. Bee
