    Circular. (No. 12.)

    Whitehall. July the 4th. 1768.

    Sir,

    As His Majesty has thought fit to direct that I should give constant Attendance in my Place at the Board of Trade, I shall not fail to lay before that Board such Matters, arising out of your Correspondence with me, as shall appear to be necessary for their Consideration; You need not therefore, for the future, be at the Trouble of transmitting their Lordships Duplicates of your Dispatches to my Office, but confine Yourself to One Channel of Correspondence, conformable to the Spirit & Intention of His Maty’s Order in Council of the Eighth of August 1766.1
