Kings Chapel Vestry Book

Began April 1774

 The following Notification was Read in Kings Chapel on

Easter Sunday April 3d 1774 imediatly after the afternoon Service

            The Proprietors of this Church are hereby Notified

that after Prayers to morrow (which begins at 10 o Clock) they

are to proceed to the choice of Church Officers for the year

ensueing and such other Bussiness as shall then be laid before

them

           At the Aniversary meeting of the said proprietors (agreable

to the above notification) on Easter Monday April 4:th 1774

Voted     That the above notification shall be deemed a Sufficieint

           Warrant for all future Meetings of the proprietors of this Church

           to Justify them in their acting upon whatever shall be laid

           before them either by the Minister or Church Wardens

Voted     by written Votes that the Church Wardens for the Year

           ensueing with His usual Salary of £12 per Annum

Voted     That Epriam Voeax be Continued Sexton during the

           pleasure of the Minister and Church Wardens & the Vestry

           with the ussual Salary of £12 per annum

Voted     That M:r Lewis Deblois & M:r Henry Leddle be a Comittee

           to Audit the Church Wardens Accounts for the year past

           of  this Church in the year 1767 for finnishing and

           Dischargeing the Debts of said Church

           untill Easter next at the usual Salary at the rate

           of twelve pounds per Annum

to Use their Endeaver to Assertain the quantity

and Value of Said plate & linnin as near as May

be, and lay in a Clame (in behalf of Said Church)
